Pain, pain go away, please come back another day. just over two weeks since my last lumbat spine surgery and the pain is still very intense and very constant. Painkillers helo to subdue it, but they make me fall alseep.
My meditation practice also helps, when I convince myself that the pain belonging to the physical body and not my consciousness within that physical body, the pain is less intrusive - it really does make a difference.
Other helps are distractions (such as the Football World Cup in Qatar - an amazing competition this is turning out to be) and not taking the pain personally.
No Neil the Univrese is not singling you out especially to give you excessive pain and a lack of mobility, it's simply the way it is. I'll meditate before sleep tonight and see if that helps keep the pain in perspective.





Interesting observation about the speed of sound and our perception of the sounds we hear being from events in the past.
