What is Usui Reiki Healing?
The term 'Usui Reiki Healing'  is a Japanese energy healing technique based on the teachings of Dr Usui which utilises the flow  of  Reiki (i.e. universal life energy)  through a practioners  body into the client's body to aid their healing process, wherever that healing is needed, be it physical, mental, emotional or spiritual .

The word “Reiki” is a combination of two Japanese words: “rei,” which means  “the higher power,” and “ki,” which means “life force energy,”
 

What are the 5 Reiki Principle?

1. Just for today, I will not worry

2. Just for today, I will not get angery

3. Just for today, I will be grateful for all my blessings

4. Just for today, I will do my work honestly

5. Just for today, I will be compasionate to myself and all others

What is an Advanced (Level 2) Reiki Practitioner?
Reiki Pratctioners undergo Reiki attunement and initiation from a Reiki Master and receive training in the history and philosophy of the Reiki healing system, and, through clearing and balancing their own energy channels, learn how to connect to the universal energy  to enable  their innate healing ability.  Reiki Advanced (level 2) Practitioners  also develop the ability to provide remote healing, which enables  them to send Reiki healing energy to others regardless of their physical location through time and space, including healing for past events and to enable positive influences on future events, still yet to happen.

What does a Reiki Healing Session entail?
A Healing Session from a  Level 2 Usui Reiki Practitioner may be done in person or remotely.

In person: the client will lay on a massage table (fully clothed) for the treatment, and the practitioner, after analysing  the client's aura, will  perform a healing process by passing their hands over the client's body, and thus allowing the flow of Reiki through the Practitioner to wherever it is needed by the Client. This treatment may also include placing the hands on the client's body in certain areas (typiraclly the crown of the head, shoulders, knees, feet). The Reiki Practitioner is guided by  Reiki and their own healing intuition.
Remotely: a photograph of the client is required by the Reiki Practitioner, as is permission from the Client's Higher Self to allow the acceptance of healing Reiki energy, which will be directed from the Practitioner through time and distance, to wherever it is needed in the Client.

What effects will a Reiki Healing have on me?

The observed effects vary. The client may not feel anything at all, or may feel a release of emotions (crying is a common response) , or may feel a change in temperature, or other physicasl sensations on their skin, or sense different energy flows through their body or chakra system.

How much will a Reki Healing session cost ?

Cost varies depending on location and duration and is typically between AU$50 to AU$100
